Allentown Band Side by Side Concert presents The Twenties Roar

Conductor Ronald Demkee shares the podium with Loras Schissel, Conductor of the Virginia Grand Military Band and Senior Musicologist at the Library of Congress for a program of music from the 1920s.
The Allentown Band will be joined by top high school musicians from the Lehigh Valley for the second half of the program. Participating student musicians are selected based on their exceptional talent and recommendation of their respective Band Directors.
The program includes Mardi Gras from “Mississippi Suite, selections from Chicago the Musical, Gershwin favorites, and much more.
This concert is FREE and open to the public.
