Peter & Will Anderson present the work of the American icon and legendary Tin Pan Alley songwriter, Irving Berlin. His masterpieces include Blue Skies, Puttin' on the Ritz, Cheek to Cheek, What'll I Do, There's No Business Like Show Business, and White Christmas. George Gershwin declared that Berlin was "the greatest composer that ever lived."
PETER & WILL ANDERSON, Saxophones, clarinets, flute
Hailed as “virtuosos on clarinet and saxophone,” (New York Times) identical twins Peter & Will Anderson have performed concerts together since the age of 9. They’ve graduated from Juilliard, performed on Broadway, at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, live on Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home Companion, and can be heard on the Grammy Winning Soundcheck of HBO's Boardwalk Empire. The Andersons have produced and starred in eight sold out off-broadway productions at 59E59 Theaters, receiving a Drama Desk Nomination for "Le Jazz Hot" (2012). MOLLY RYAN, Vocals
The Wall Street Journal says “Molly Ryan swings the melody -- as well as the words -- without affectation of any kind. She sounds worldly wise beyond her years, wonderfully gentle and lyrical.” Molly’s elegant vocal style evokes the big band singers of the 1930s and breathe new life into familiar standards. Ryan performs at prestigious Manhattan venues including the Café Carlyle, Town Hall, The Waldorf Astoria, Rainbow Room, and Birdland. DALTON RIDENHOUR, Piano
A native of St. James, Missouri, Ridenhour performed at the Scott Joplin International Ragtime Festival at the age of nine. For the next eight years, he was a featured performer at music festivals around the country, and was selected as a member of the 2000 Grammy High School Jazz Ensemble. Dalton furthered his education at the Berklee College of Music and Eastman School of Music, where he studied with Harold Danko. Dalton resides in New York City where he performs regularly with numerous traditional jazz, indie rock, country and funk bands. He recently released his first solo album, “Eccentricity,” on the Rivermont Records label. His inspirations include Scott Joplin, Fats Waller, Elvis Presley, Radiohead, and Nat King Cole. ALEX RADERMAN, Drum set
Originally from Chappaqua NY, Raderman is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, and received his Masters Degree in Jazz Performance at NYU Steinhardt. A versatile musician performing in a variety of musical settings that range from jazz to pop, rock, funk and world music, Raderman has maintained an active performance and touring schedule in the US, Canada, Europe, Japan, Central America and the Caribbean. He has performed at venues and festivals ranging from Birdland, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Smalls, Joe’s Pub, The Blue Note and Central Park SummerStage in NYC to The Newport Jazz Festival, The Montreal Jazz Festival, The London Jazz Festival and Blue Note Jazz Festival Yokohama.
NEAL MINER, Acoustic bass
Since the age of 19, bassist Neal Miner has been a solid fixture on the New York City jazz scene and is a favored bassist to Harry Allen, Russell Malone, Peter Bernstein, Dena DeRose, Ann Hampton Callaway, Loston Harris, James Moody, Frank Wess, Etta Jones, Bob Dorough, and Warren Vaché. Neal has toured and recorded with Jon Hendricks since 1998, backed Annie Ross steadily since 2005, joined Jane Monheit’s band in 2007, and has released four of his own recordings. www.nealminer.com
