ATTENDANCE
Everyone in attendance must have a ticket, regardless of age. There are no exceptions. Please contact our Box Office at 610-432-6715 with any questions about the age appropriateness of any particular event.
AGE APPROPRIATNESS FOR CLASSICAL CONCERTS
Children under the age of 4 will not be permittd to any ASO Classical or Pops concert. Please note that every person attending the concert, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the concert hall. To foster the best experience for all patrons, a quiet, focused environment respectful of others needs to be maintained. Performance length varies, but a typical orchestra concert runs a little over two hours with one intermission. Some individual pieces may last an hour or more. Children should be accustomed to sitting quietly and attentively for this amount of time. The ASO reserves the right to remove any individuals who are disrupting fellow patrons or the concert setting.
APPLAUSE
ASO Classical & Pops Concerts: While attending an ASO Classical or Pops performance, please applaud only at the close of a full piece of music. The program page, which lists individual movements of longer compositions, and the program notes can help you to follow the orchestra’s progress through each piece and determine the appropriate moments to applaud.
ARRIVAL
The Box Office opens two hours before each performance. Plan to arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled performance to allow ample time to use the facilities, locate your seats, and settle in. The theater will be opened for seating by the House Manager approximately 30-45 minutes prior to curtain. All performances begin promptly as scheduled.
BUILDING EMERGENCY
In the event of a building emergency, an announcement from the stage will notify and instruct patrons. Should the building need to be evacuated, please exit via the nearest door, or according to instructions.

BOX OFFICE LOCATION
Miller Symphony Hall, 23 North Sixth Street, Allentown, PA 18101. When visiting our Box Office, please enter through our main entrance doors located on the Sixth Street side of our building. Our Box Office is located just inside our lobby on the right-hand side. CLICK HERE
BUYER BEWARE
Tickets to all performances at Miller Symphony Hall are available exclusively from our Box Office which operates in conjunction with our online ticketing vendor, Salesforce. Be advised that the Allentown Symphony Association (ASA) cannot guarantee the authenticity of tickets obtained through any other source. Counterfeit and other invalid tickets will not be honored by the ASA. Should you opt to purchase tickets from a source other than an authorized ASA point of purchase, beware! The ASA is not responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorized third parties, such as ticket brokers, scalpers or online outlets. Tickets purchased from third parties may not be valid and do not guarantee admission into an event. Tickets purchased from third parties are usually priced much higher than the ticket's face value so you will pay more than the price charged by the ASA for the same ticket. The ASA cannot replace such tickets if lost or stolen and cannot contact you with information regarding time changes, show cancellations, or other pertinent information.
CAMERAS, CELL PHONES, AND RECORDING EQUIPMENT
Photography and video or audio recording inside Symphony Hall is prohibited without prior written consent. Please remember to turn off all cellular devices and electronic pagers. Special arrangements can be made with the House Manger if you may need to be contacted during the concert. For the safety and comfort of our patrons, management reserves the right to open and inspect any bags or packages when entering or leaving this facility.
DURING THE PERFORMANCE
ASO Classical & Pops Concerts: To nurture the ultimate experience for all patrons, a quiet, focused environment respectful of others needs to be preserved. Performance length varies, but a typical orchestra concert runs a little over two hours with one intermission. Some individual pieces may last an hour or more. To guarantee that our patrons as well as our performers enjoy the full benefits of the performance, we request that once a performance has started, that you refrain from talking, whispering, singing, humming, or moving personal belongings. Please open cough drop wrappers prior to the beginning of the performance. Patrons are also asked to refrain from entering and exiting the hall while a performance is in progress. If you must leave your seat, please proceed quickly and quietly to the nearest door, or ask the nearest usher for assistance.
ELEVATORS
A wheelchair-accessible elevator serves all levels of Miller Symphony Hall, and is located just inside the north (Linden Street) entrance to our building.
ENTRANCES
Miller Symphony Hall is wheelchair accessible from both its west (Sixth Street) and north (Linden Street) entrances.
FIRST AID
In case of an emergency, please contact the nearest usher. Symphony Hall is equipped with an Automatic External Defibrillator in the 1st floor Lobby. On-call physicians attending the Symphony are requested to please leave their names and seat locations with the House Manger.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
Inclement weather is not a cause for cancellation. As long as the artist can make it to the theater, the performance will go on. There are no refunds or exchanges because of bad weather. Plan to leave home early, and please travel carefully. If the status of a show does change, an announcement will be posted on the home page of this website as well as our Facebook fan page.
INTERMISSION
During intermission, patrons may visit our concessions areas located in the first floor lobby and the second floor mezzanine. No food or beverages are permitted in the theater during ASO Classical or Pops Concerts.
LATE ARRIVALS
ASO Classical & Pops Concerts: In consideration of the comfort and listening pleasure of the audience, patrons who arrive after the performance begins will be asked by the ushers to wait in the outer lobby and will be escorted into the auditorium at an appropriate time. No one will be permitted to enter the hall while the orchestra is performing.
LOST & FOUND
To inquire about a lost item please call our Box Office at 610-432-6715 or email boxoffice2@allentownsymphony.org with the subject line "Lost & Found." Please include your name, phone number, seat location, and a description of the lost item. Unclaimed lost & found items are stored for three months and then donated to charity. If you find an item which does not belong to you, please report it to an usher, the House Manager, or a Box Office attendant.

PROGRAM NOTES
ASO Classical & Pops Concerts: For information on a particular concert, please see the program notes found in the program book and on the Miller Symphony Hall website. The notes provide background on the composers, the composition process, the story behind the music, previous performances, and highlight significant passages or instruments.

If you have purchased tickets online and do not receive a confirmation e-mail after submitting payment information, or, if you have any questions regarding your online transaction, please all our Box Office at 610-432-6715.
PARKING
Downtown Allentown boasts more than 6,000 parking spaces near Miller Symphony Hall and its surrounding restaurants, shops, and office buildings. Visitors can choose one of three ways to park downtown, all of which are convenient, safe, and affordable. For your convenience, please visit http://citycenterlehighvalley.com/downtown-parking/. Please allow plenty of extra time for traffic and parking. Keep in mind that there are many area restaurants that offer valet parking and there are several lots and garages in the vicinity which offer free shuttle service to various locations and parking garages within downtown Allentown.
PATRONS WITH DISABILITIES
Miller Symphony Hall is accessible to all physically disabled persons. Please call the Box Office at 610-432-6715 to make arrangements for wheelchair-seating options or if assistance is needed for those with limited mobility. Patrons who had purchased non-accessible seating and are now in need of accessible seating at the time of an event will be directed to the box office for availability of such seating, which will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

PRIVACY

RESTROOMS
ADA-compliant and beautifully restored restrooms are available on all levels of Miller Symphony Hall. This includes Orchestra, Mezzanine, and Balcony levels as well as a new ladies restroom located just inside the side entrance to our theatre near the elevator.
REFUNDS/EXCHANGES
All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. Please check your ticket information carefully when purchasing.
SERVICE FEE
All tickets (online, phone, in person) have a per ticket service charge added to the price of the ticket.
SMOKING
Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is prohibited inside the building, as well as restrooms. We are a smoke-free environment.

STUDENT TICKETS

TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Each ticket constitutes a license from the Allentown Symphony Association to the purchaser. No ticket may be transferred or resold for any price above the purchase price printed on the ticket. By accepting a ticket, you are agreeing to the terms of this license.
TICKET VOUCHERS
Vouchers must be redeemed in person at the Box Office. Vouchers are not redeemable, neither in part nor full, for cash. Vouchers are redeemable only for the benefit specified on the voucher and not valid for previously purchased tickets. Tickets are subject to availability and seats are not guaranteed until voucher is redeemed. We strongly recommend redeeming your voucher as soon as possible. Expired vouchers will not be honored.

WHAT TO WEAR
Now is the time to let go of any preconceptions you may have about a dress code at the Symphony. Simply stated, we ask that you wear whatever makes you comfortable and most importantly, allows you to open yourself up to the music. Many people enjoy dressing up and making a special night of it, and you can, too. However, if it's your favorite pair of khakis and a comfortable sweater that allows you to feel the rhythms and follow the tunes, wear them! Remember, this is YOUR experience and we want it to be an AWESOME one.
WILL CALL
When purchasing your tickets online, you have the option of receiving them in the mail or picking them up at our Box Office. Patrons who have tickets being held at Will Call may pick up their tickets during hours of operation by presenting a valid photo ID and the order number at our Box Office.
