An energetic and comic theme and variations treatment of this favorite tune with narrator to introduce the instruments of the band. This might be thought of as parallel to Leonard Bernstein’s “Young People’s Guide to the Orchestra.”

of the 1800s, with authentic Civil War era instruments
Featuring historic brass band instruments and rope tension drums that would have been played by the Allentown Band in the mid-19th Century.
